Where global standards meet Indian wisdom
At Munchkins, Rivendale Academy's kindergarten wing, our curriculum draws inspiration from the Finnish early childhood education approach — renowned for its joyful, play-based, child-led learning that builds strong foundations through exploration and meaningful interactions.
Every experience is intentionally designed to nourish and balance these interconnected layers, ensuring comprehensive growth rooted in timeless Indian value systems, this helps in a holistic child-centred development for ages 3–6, focusing on key early milestones in a nurturing, inquiry-driven environment.
Diverse exposure to sounds, rhymes, multilingual stories (including regional and traditional tales), songs, and oral traditions — building emotional depth, curiosity, discernment, and vocabulary through joyful immersion and retelling.
Speaking, listening, storytelling, dramatic play, drawing, singing, and early mark-making — enhancing physical coordination in communication, creative confidence, and pure delight in sharing ideas.
Personal narratives, family/cultural sharing, and relationship-building — developing emotional vocabulary, empathy, social bonds, and vital energy through rhythmic group play and heartfelt exchanges.
Sensory experiences, nature adventures, real-world objects, and outdoor discoveries — encouraging descriptive language, questioning, observation, and intellectual wonder while grounding the physical self.
Emotional resilience, self-expression, social communication, and inner harmony — supported by gratitude practices, mindful reflections, and joyful celebrations.

At Rivendale Academy, learning is designed to nurture curiosity, deep understanding, and independent thinking. We propose to follow an international board of education.
Alongside these, students engage with projects with international dimensions, encouraging exploration of real-world issues from multiple viewpoints through research and collaboration.
A hallmark of learning at Rivendale is PBL. Students undertake carefully designed projects that connect ideas across subjects and apply knowledge to authentic, real-life situations. Older students develop leadership through mentorship of younger peers.
Learners will have access to global assessment programmes. The school plans to subscribe to internally acclaimed agencies.
